Harrington Park—Fred Herrmann, son of Mrs. Karl Herrmann of Schraalenburg Road, took as his bride Miss Ruth Susanne Hirsch. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Hirsch of Kew Gardens, Long Island, on August 20. The ceremony was performed by Rabbi
Robert Serebrenik at the Congregation Ramath Orah, New York City. Matron of honor was Mrs. Daniel Gilbert of Fort Lee. Fred Sommers of New York City served as best man, and Arnold Block of Hackensack and Jack Dreyfus of New York City as ushers. The bride was graduated from Latin American Institute and attended Hunt College. The bridegroom, a graduate of City College of New York, Is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and employed at the Frankford Arsenal, Philadelphia. He served with the U. S. Strategic Bombing Survey in World War 2. After a motor trip to Canada, the couple will reside in Philadelphia.
