Georgine K. Derstine Rineheimer, 71, of Quakertown, formerly of Harleysville, died Sunday, July 11, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was the wife of Simon Rineheimer, who died last year, and the former wife of Linford N. Derstine of Harleysville.
A seamstress in the garment industry for more than 20 years, she worked at the former Shoenaman's, Souderton, until it closed in the 1970s.
She also was a cook at the North Penn Gun Club; Veterans of Foreign Wars, Forest Lodge, Sellersville; Peter Becker Community, Harleysville, and Argus Inn, Argus.
Born in Germantown, she was a daughter of the late Frederick F. and Georgina (Reuther) Schmidt.
Survivors: Former husband; daughters, Jeannette S. Hryoyk of Richmond, Va., Joanne S., wife of Michael H. Kulp of Sellersville, and Janice Gerhardt of Harleysville; sons, Bruce S. Derstine of Palmer, Alaska, Brent S. Derstine of Green Lane and Barry S. Derstine of Souderton; brother John of Gilbertsville, and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, David R. Sadler Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford. Call 10-10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
