(obit) Maurice Reich Maurice Reich, 57, Voter here for 21 years and president of the Neighborhood Grocers Assocation, died Tuesday at Deaconess Hospital.
Mr. Reich, of 3236 N. 46th st. operated the Reich Food Market 128 W Vine st, for seven years Previously, he operated a grocery at 900 W. Walnut st. for 15 years. He had been president of the grocers association, a group of Independent businessmen in Milwaukee, for the last three years. Mr. Reich was In the army from 1941 to 1945, serving In the African and European theaters. He was born In Poland and came to this country in 1938 and to Milwaukee in 1939. He was a member of the Golden Links Lodge No 97 of the International Order of Odd Fellows, the Gilead Lodge of B'nai B'rith, the Morris Guten Post of the Jewish War Veterans. He was member of Congregation Anshe Sfard. Survivors include his wife, Sarah (nee Silverstein): three daughters, Mrs. Morris (Diane) Werner, Monsey. N. Y., and Eva Lynne Reich and Temmie Leah Reich, both at home; and two sons, Leo and Raphael Max, also at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Walter Loebinger and Mrs. Ernst (Gerta) Hurwitz, live in Israel. Another sister, Mrs. Roschen Gitler, lives in Antwerp, Belgium. He is also survived by one grandchild.
Services were held Wednesday at Goodman-Bensman (west). Burial was in Mound Zion cemetery.
