(obit) Brief Illness Fatal To Emma Hirsch
Mrs. Emma Hirsch, 443 Clay Ave., died this morning in Mountain Rest Nursing Home, after
a brief illness.
Born in Hamburg, Germany, she had resided in this city 27 years. Her husband, Albert, died in Germany in 1933. Mrs. Hirsch attended Temple Israel.
Surviving are a son, Ludwig, New York City; a daughter, Mrs. Simon Haas, this city: six
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 3 P.M. from the Ziman Funeral Home, $12 Gibson St. Rabbi Dr. Simon H. Shoop, and the Rev. William S. Horn, both of Temple Israel, will officiate.
Interment Temple Israel Cemetery, Dunmore. There will be no viewing. Shiva will be observed at 443 Clay Ave.
