(obit) ADOLPH D. STORCH, HEADED JERSEY DRUG CONCERN
Adolph D. Storch, president and board chairman of the Purepac Laboratories Corporation, a pharmaceuticals and homeproducts concern, in Elizabeth, N. J., died Sunday in New York Hospital after long illness. He was 57 years old and lived in Manhattan.
Mr. Storch was a governor of the Hebrew University and a leader in establishing the School of Pharmacy at the university.
He was a former board chairman of the drug and toiletries division of the United Jewish Appeal, a trustee of the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy of Long Island University, a memliler of the, executive board of Mizrachi and the Jekvish National Fund and a trustee of the Sutton Place Synagogue.
Mr. Storch was a former board chairman and honorary director of the National Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and had been for many years trustee of the Optometric Center of New York.
Surviving are his wife, Harty Lee; son, Jeffrey IC. Gallin; his mother, Erna; a brother, Victor J., and a sister, Margot Bamberger.
